En effet l\u2019am\u00e9ricain Jerry Miszewski, ancien d\u00e9tenteur du record en longline avec 494 m\u00e8tres, a travers\u00e9 dans le vide une highline de 305 m\u00e8tres. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9 Yuri Rhodenborgh, un jeune Hollandais, a pass\u00e9 405 m\u00e8tres en longline sur une sangle en polyester.\u00a0C\u2019est la saison des records, maintenant \u00e0 nous de jouer! Il ne reste plus qu\u2019\u00e0 r\u00e9unir les \u00e9l\u00e9ments n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"848\" height=\"477\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X-DDsfji_Mw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div>Nous avions rep\u00e9r\u00e9 un spot quelques semaines auparavant chez Nicolas Margaron. Ce dernier est dispo ainsi que Th\u00e9o Sanson, le comp\u00e8re dans les projets fous. Pour ce qui est de la sangle Slack.fr nous \u00e0 fournit 600 m\u00e8tres de <a href=\"http:\/\/laboutique.slack.fr\/collections\/sangles\/products\/moonwalk\" target=\"_blank\">moonwalk<\/a> que nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 pour <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/.http:\/\/blog.slack.fr\/2014\/11\/part-4-last-one-on-road-to-300m-of.html\" target=\"_blank\">d\u2019autres projets<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/.http:\/\/blog.slack.fr\/2014\/11\/part-4-last-one-on-road-to-300m-of.html\" target=\"_blank\">.<\/a>\u00a0Tout repose maintenant sur la m\u00e9t\u00e9o et l\u2019autorisation de tendre au-dessus du champ.<\/div>\n<div>Le 12 novembre au soir nous nous retrouvons Th\u00e9o, Lola, Nico et Quentin venus pour immortaliser le moment. Premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape pr\u00e9parer la sangle afin de gagner du temps demain\u00a0: le plat est fait et un wind stopper est scotch\u00e9 tous les 50 m\u00e8tres, imaginez 600 m\u00e8tres qui entre en r\u00e9sonnance, vous ne voudriez pas \u00eatre la\u2026<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Apr\u00e8s une petite nuit, il est l\u2019heure du joyeux matin\u00a0! D\u00e9part pour un nouveau spot rep\u00e9r\u00e9 par Nico la veille (l\u2019exploitant du premier ne nous a pas donn\u00e9 l\u2019autorisation). Quelques d\u00e9sillusions plus tard nous obtenons finalement l\u2019accord des trois exploitants gr\u00e2ce aux bonnes paroles de Th\u00e9o et Nico. C\u2019est parti pour l\u2019installation, pas une minute \u00e0 perdre, les jours sont courts et le mauvais temps arrive. La sangle est rapidement pass\u00e9e, les encrages pr\u00e9par\u00e9s (merci Lola pour le bartassage) il ne reste plus qu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9tendre puis tendre si l\u2019on veut pouvoir pr\u00e9tendre marcher sur ce monstre. La tension commence \u00e0 \u00eatre bonne nous d\u00e9passons la tonne et demi. D\u2019apr\u00e8s nos calculs 1700 Kg devraient largement faire l\u2019affaire. Je suis le plus lourd c\u2019est donc \u00e0 moi d\u2019aller tester au milieu. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c7a touche les gars, faut continuer\u00a0\u00bb. Deux renvois tir\u00e9s plus tard c\u2019est bon\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Yes\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb J\u2019entends la satisfaction dans le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, oui sur des distances pareilles la voix ne porte pas assez. Je d\u00e9cide de ne pas trainer et de vite monter dessus pendant que la tension est bonne. J\u2019avais pens\u00e9 et dit\u00a0: \u00ab on installe, on traverse et on d\u00e9monte\u00a0\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div>D\u00e8s le premier pas je suis convaincu que c\u2019est tr\u00e8s largement faisable. Il n\u2019y a plus qu\u2019\u00e0 rester concentr\u00e9 un moment sans se laisser surprendre. Je marche sans trop de soucis sur 250 m\u00e8tres jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que quelques secousses dues au vent me rappellent \u00e0 l\u2019ordre. Le passage de la \u00ab\u00a0bosse des colzas\u00a0\u00bb est juste, juste, je suis tr\u00e8s proche de la terre sur une trentaine de m\u00e8tres. Et puis finalement c\u2019est fait me voil\u00e0 au bout, les copains on fait le d\u00e9placement depuis l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 pour le check de la r\u00e9ussite\u00a0! Th\u00e9o d\u00e9cide d\u2019attendre un peu avant d\u2019envoyer un essai sur la ligne. Pendant ce temps-l\u00e0 PJ, Gauthier et Nico marche sur le d\u00e9part mais \u00e7a engage un peu, c\u2019est haut. Notre f\u00e9lin Margaron ira m\u00eame jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80 m\u00e8tres avant de rater son catch, faire un salto avant et atterrir sur les pieds. \u00ab\u00a0Ouf\u2026\u00a0\u00bb Le soleil est de plus en plus bas c\u2019est l\u2019heure pour notre comp\u00e8re d\u2019y aller.<br \/>\nUn petit coup de tension car la ligne \u00e0 perdue et hop. Le voil\u00e0 partit. Il a l\u2019air bien sur le d\u00e9part, \u00e7a avance, rien ne semble pouvoir l\u2019arr\u00eater. On esp\u00e8re tous le retrouver de l\u2019autre cot\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du voyage. C\u2019est chose faite\u00a0! Voil\u00e0 Th\u00e9o qui arrive au bout, encore 20 m\u00e8tres, 10 m\u00e8tres c\u2019est valid\u00e9\u00a0! Il a r\u00e9ussi, on a r\u00e9ussi\u00a0! Celui-ci devant tant de facilit\u00e9 de notre part s\u2019est empress\u00e9 de rep\u00e9rer une ligne plus longue car finalement nous n\u2019avons fait qu\u2019\u00e9galer le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent record (494 m). Anim\u00e9 d\u2019une motivation d\u00e9fiant toute \u00e9preuve il nous pousse \u00e0 d\u00e9monter pour pr\u00e9parer l\u2019installation de demain qui, selon lui, se fera dans la m\u00eame cuvette sur des arbres plus loin. La nuit est tomb\u00e9e il faut donc le croire sur parole et c\u2019est reparti\u00a0! Aujourd\u2019hui la m\u00e9t\u00e9o dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0 vent suivi par la pluie dans l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi\u00a0\u00bb. Ca s\u2019annonce difficile, d\u2019autant que le cot\u00e9 rep\u00e9r\u00e9 par Gauthier ne nous enthousiasme pas compl\u00e8tement. Mais rien n\u2019est jou\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un gros A frame fabriqu\u00e9 par Nico on parvient \u00e0 d\u00e9caler l\u2019encrage sur deux arbustes, esp\u00e9rons que \u00e7a tienne.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Cette fois-ci la tension s\u2019approchera plus des deux tonnes, \u00e0 ne pas refaire \u00e0 la maison. La cuvette n\u2019est pas vraiment sym\u00e9trique, il va falloir engager. Tension\u00a0: cette fois nous gagnons du temps et de l\u2019\u00e9nergie en utilisant la voiture de Quentin. Je vais du cot\u00e9 A frame pour v\u00e9rifier qu\u2019il se mette bien en place et faire le \u00ab\u00a0test du plus gros\u00a0\u00bb quand la ligne sera sous haute tension. Tout se passe \u00e0 merveille. On atteint 1900 Kg sans soucis bien que personne n\u2019ose trainer sous les poulies. Un peu peur quand m\u00eame en allant tester la tension. C\u2019est ok, je ne touche pas\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Encore yes\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb Le plus difficile est fait. Il faut maintenant esp\u00e9rer que la m\u00e9t\u00e9o nous laisse traverser.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Etant d\u00e9j\u00e0 du bon c\u00f4t\u00e9 je me pr\u00e9pare directement pour la grande travers\u00e9e. Tout est sous contr\u00f4le, c\u2019est repartit. Le d\u00e9but se fait au ras du sol, aucuns soucis \u00e0 part un vent qui devient de plus en plus secouant. Je passe le point critique ou la ligne est la plus proche du sol au millim\u00e8tre pr\u00e8s, heureusement que j\u2019ai enlev\u00e9 mon pull\u2026 La principale difficult\u00e9 reste le vent\u00a0: la ligne d\u00e9crit un arc de cercle devant moi et je me fais compl\u00e8tement secouer aux talons, il faut s\u2019accrocher c\u2019est s\u00fbrement le seul essai possible. Puis viens la zone en hauteur, ne pas regarder en bas, marcher, c\u2019est tout. Au bout de 27 minutes enfin la d\u00e9livrance. J\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 beaucoup plus rapide que sur la 500 m\u00e8tres ou nous avions tous les deux mis plus de 40 minutes, press\u00e9 par le vent et habitu\u00e9 de la veille. Acte final de ces deux journ\u00e9es intenses. Th\u00e9o se l\u00e8ve au loin, tout petit \u00e0 601 m\u00e8tres, et part pour traverser cette ligne \u00e0 vue. Lui devra affronter le vent sur le d\u00e9part puis les premi\u00e8res gouttes de pluies alors qu\u2019il est au milieu. M\u00eame appr\u00e9hension dans la zone en hauteur, chute interdite. Une chanson de Philippe Catherine et 35 minutes plus tard le voil\u00e0 au-dessus de nos t\u00eates le sourire aux l\u00e8vres. En deux jours nous avons install\u00e9 et travers\u00e9 deux monstres tous les deux\u00a0! Indeed the American Jerry Miszewski, holding the previous longline world record with 494 meters, has walked a 305 meters highline. On his side, the young Dutch Yuri Rhodenborgh has walked a 405 meters longline on a polyester webbing.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This is the record season, now it\u2019s our turn! Now we must gather all the elements required for this project. We spotted a good place some weeks before with Nicolas Margaron. He and Th\u00e9o Sanson are available at this time, those are the friends for mad projects. First step: prepare the webbing for tomorrow. Twists are removed and a wind dampener is taped every 50 meters. (Imagine 600 meters of webbing starting resonating, you wouldn\u2019t be there!)<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"en-GB\">After a short night, it\u2019s time for \u00ab Joyeux matin ! \u00bb We arrive at the new place spotted by Nico the day before because the farmer didn\u2019t allowed us to use the first field. After some discussion we finally obtain the agreement of the three farmers, first victory! We will walk above wheat and rapeseed. I am the heavier, so I have to test the tension in the middle. \u00ab\u00a0It\u2019s touching guys, we need to pull again\u00bb. A few meters of rope pulled later, it\u2019s ok : \u00ab\u00a0Yes\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb I hear the satisfaction in the phone. Second victory, now \u00ab\u00a0Let\u2019s do it!\u00a0\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Everything is backuped, the line is ready. I decided to quickly go on it, while the tension is good. I thought and said: \u00ab We set up, we send and we unset\u00a0\u00bb. With the first step I\u2019m convinced that it is easily realizable. The job is just to stay focused and avoid to get surprised. I walk without worry about 250 meters until a few shakes due to wind remind me to order. On the rapeseed hill it\u2019s tight, I\u2019m really low above the ground for about 30 meters. Finally it\u2019s done, I&rsquo;m at the end, my friends made the trip from the other side for the success check! Even our cat Margaron walked 80 meters before missing his catch, making a somersault and landing on his feet. \u00ab\u00a0Ouf\u2026\u00a0\u00bb Dusk is comming, it\u2019s time for our man to go. A little retension and hop. Here he\u2019s begining. He looks good, nothing seems to be able to stop his advanced. We all hope to find him on the other side. Here comes Theo, still 20 meters, 10 meters, it\u2019s done! He managed it, we managed it! <\/span>This day is a complete success.<\/div>\n<div lang=\"en-GB\"><\/div>\n<div lang=\"en-GB\">The story might have ended there but it was not count on Gauthier, our record expert . Seeing us so easy on the line, he quickly found a new opportunity for a longer line. Indeed we only equalized the Jerry\u2019s record (494 meters- 1621 ft). Here we are in a new set up. Today the weather say: \u00ab\u00a0 wind following by the rain in afternoon\u00a0\u00bb. It will be difficult, especially because the spotted side by Gauthier not enthusiastic us completely. But we do not lose faith. Helped by a big A frame made by Nico we are able to moved the anchor to two little trees. The bowl is not really symmetrical, we must engage. Nico goes to the middle to measure with the laser and annouces 601 meters (1974 feets) !<\/div>\n<div lang=\"en-GB\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Same ritual as before. We save time and energy by using Quentins\u2019 car to pull the rope. I go to the A frame\u2019s side to make sure it take the good position. We reached 1900 Kgs (4200 lbf) easily although nobody dares to hang under the pulleys. A bit scared anyway when I going to test the tension. It&rsquo;s ok, I don\u2019t touch the ground : \u00ab\u00a0Yes again !\u00a0\u00bb The hardest part is done. Everything is under control, let\u2019s go. The start is at ground level, no worries except the wind that becomes increasingly shaking. I walk over the critical point (where the line is closer to the ground) a few tenths of a millimeter, luckily I took off my sweater &#8230; The main difficulty is the wind: line describes an arc in front of me and I&rsquo;m completely shake at the heels, you have to hang it\u2019s surely the only possible try. Then come the height zone: \u00ab don\u2019t look down, walk, that\u2019s all \u00bb. After 27 minutes finally the issue. I was much faster than on the 500 meters where it took more than 40 minutes to each of us, pressed by the wind and trained by the last line.
